These 33 lbs of rounded olivine sauna stones (2"–4" / 5–10 cm) are specifically selected to complement HUUM’s signature heater design and deliver a smoother, gentler steam experience. Their rounded shape allows water to flow deeper into the stone bed, creating gradual evaporation instead of an immediate burst of steam—resulting in a softer, more balanced heat.

Crafted from durable, high–heat–resistant olivine granite, these stones are built to withstand intense temperature changes without cracking. Their mix of smaller and larger pieces ensures a visually seamless fit within HUUM’s open-style baskets while maximizing heat retention.

Proper stone selection and placement are essential for creating optimal löyly (steam). We recommend using rounded stones for HUUM heaters, arranging smaller stones more tightly at the top to hold heat effectively and maintain the heater’s beautiful, sculptural look.
