Description

DROP Series 4.5kW Sauna Heater Package

The HUUM DROP 4.5kW Sauna Heater Package includes everything needed to create a beautifully heated, spa-quality sauna experience. This complete set features the award-winning DROP 4.5kW wall-mounted heater, your choice of UKU Local or UKU Wi-Fi control, and premium sauna stones. Designed for sauna rooms from 106–248 cubic feet, this package delivers both performance and elegance in one seamless solution.

At the core of the package is the sculptural DROP 4.5kW electric heater, known for its compact size and exceptional stone capacity. Pair it with the UKU Local control for in-room operation, or upgrade to UKU Wi-Fi to preheat and manage your sauna remotely through the HUUM mobile app.

The heater holds an impressive 122 lbs of rounded olivine stones, producing a softer, more consistent high heat and luxurious steam. This generous stone volume exceeds many traditional wood-burning stoves, allowing bathers to ladle more water for richer steam and a more immersive sauna session.

Inspired by the pure shape of a water droplet, the DROP heater’s organic curves soften the look of a traditional sauna interior while making a bold design statement. Its striking appearance earned HUUM the prestigious Red Dot Award for product design, blending artistic form with engineering excellence.

For sauna enthusiasts who want design, innovation, and superior heat performance in one package, the HUUM DROP delivers an elevated sauna experience — with the option to start your session from anywhere using Wi-Fi control.

What people like

Users praise the heater for its exceptional steam quality, providing a soft, enveloping heat reminiscent of traditional wood-fired saunas, largely due to its substantial stone capacity which exceeds that of many competitors. The award-winning, water-drop design is frequently highlighted as a significant aesthetic advantage, making it a centerpiece in modern sauna builds. The integration with the UKU Wi-Fi control system is also a popular feature, allowing for convenient remote preheating and scheduling via a mobile app. However, a common point of concern is the longer heat-up time compared to some other heaters, attributed to its large stone mass. Additionally, the need for a separate UKU controller, which is an additional purchase, can surprise some buyers.

Pros

Award-winning design: Stunning, Red Dot Award-winning design that enhances sauna aesthetics.
Exceptional steam: Exceptional steam quality from massive stone capacity, producing softer, longer-lasting löyly.
High temperature: Higher maximum temperature (230°F vs 194°F competitors).
Smart integration: Polished smart home integration via UKU WiFi.
Premium materials: Hand-crafted Estonian quality with premium materials.
Authentic heat: Softer, more authentic löyly that mimics wood-fired saunas.
Large capacity: 122 lbs of stone capacity.

Cons

Longer heat-up: Longer heat-up time compared to competitors.
Controller required: Requires a separate UKU controller.
Higher price: Premium pricing significantly above mainstream competitors.
Element longevity: Concerns regarding element longevity and maintenance.
